Miriam Nouri and Arash Nouri are a sister and brother team that decided to open their own practice, Oak Accounting. Miriam focuses on bookkeeping, tax and business consulting, while Arash specializes in payroll and human resources. We found that our individual fields complemented each other’s in surprising, and what turned out to be inseparable, ways. This made us eager to cultivate our own practice, one that would effectively intersect our expertise with our respective interests. We strive to cultivate a more sustainable practice for our clients, with dedication and efficiency.

Miriam Nouri
From working at the prestigious PricewaterhouseCoopers to running her own business consulting company, Miriam has worked with various clients large and small for over 15 years. Miriam has worked with clients that cover a wide range of business services including architectural firms, creative directors, interior designers, production houses, restaurants, commercial and residential construction companies, and non-profit arts organizations. Her past and current clientele include Art+Commerce, Douglas Little, Delson and Sherman Architects, Elan Artists, Tractor Vision, Cabinets by Amy & Lauren, Wines of Chile, Aaran Art, O.G. Films, Pocahontas & Zarathustra Fine Art Services, Puro Chile, Christoff:Finio Architects, and The Polish Institute of Arts & Sciences. She is a multi-faceted and fast-moving spark plug that will electrify your finances.
She also holds advanced degrees in comparative literature and philosophy, so she comes chock full of book recommendations and can talk your ear off on topics ranging from the Kantian sublime to Kristeva's Powers of Horror, and all the way to Freud's work on the Wolfman.

Arash Nouri
Arash focuses on the various facets of human resource management. He specializes in scheduling, employee management, and payroll. In addition to his consulting work at Oak Accounting LLC, he is a Human Capital Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
